Species information

Vincetoxicum paniculatum     (R.Br.) Kuntze

This native vine or climber is commonly known as thin-leaved tylophora.

Vincetoxicum paniculatum is described as a "dicot" in the Apocynaceae family.

Flagged as a potential locally significant species in the Fraser Coast Region. In the Queensland Nature Conservation Act it is classified as Least Concern. Under the Federal Environment Protection Biodiversity Conservation Act it is not classified.

In the Fraser Coast region recorded only on K'gari (Fraser Island) which may be the northern limit of distribution. Previously known as Tylophora paniculata (Queensland Flora Census 2020). 

It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census but is not listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in Queensland Herbarium Wildlife Online.
