Species information

Bridelia leichhardtii     Baill. ex Muell.Arg.

This native tree is commonly known as small-leaved brush ironbark.

Bridelia leichhardtii is described as a "dicot" in the Phyllanthaceae family.

In the Queensland Nature Conservation Act it is classified as Least Concern. Under the Federal Environment Protection Biodiversity Conservation Act it is not classified.

Fruit ripening black end of June 2020 Yengarie. 

It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census and is listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in Queensland Herbarium Wildlife Online.

Reported at 30 Fraser Coast localities: Bauple, Bauple Forest, Bidwill, Boompa, Burrum Heads, Craignish, Doongul, Duckinwilla, Dundowran Beach, Eli Waters, Glenwood, Howard, Kanigan, Magnolia, Malarga, Mount Urah, Netherby, Owanyilla, Point Vernon, Prawle, River Heads, St Mary, Takura, Teddington, Tiaro, Toogoom, Urangan, Woocoo, Yengarie, Yerra.
