Baloskion pallens     (R.Br.) B.G.Briggs & L.A.S.Johnson

This native groundcover is commonly known as pale chord rush.

Baloskion pallens is described as a "monocot" in the Restionaceae family.

In the Queensland Nature Conservation Act it is classified as Least Concern. Under the Federal Environment Protection Biodiversity Conservation Act it is not classified.

Also collected at Duckinwilla (Peter Young). Previously known as Restio pallens (Australian Plant Census). Regarded as a wetland species in Queensland WetlandInfo.

It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census and is listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in Queensland Herbarium Wildlife Online.

Reported at 9 Fraser Coast localities: Boonooroo Plains, Burrum Heads, Dunmora, K'gari, Poona, Talegalla Weir, Tin Can Bay, Tinnanbar, Tuan Forest.
