Boronia rivularis     C.T.White

This native shrub is commonly known as Wide Bay boronia.

Boronia rivularis is described as a "dicot" in the Rutaceae family.

In the Queensland Nature Conservation Act it is classified as Near Threatened. Under the Federal Environment Protection Biodiversity Conservation Act it is not classified.

Petals pink, lilac or rarely white (Stanley and Ross. 1995. Flora of south-eastern Queensland). Distribution in Fraser Coast region includes K'gari (Fraser Island) and coastal areas near Tinnanbar. This appears to be the northern limit with the southern limit in the vicinity of Caloundra. Listed as a priority locally significant species in the Fraser Coast Region Threatened Species Action Plan (Ecosure 2019, Stage 2 TSAP for Fraser Coast LGA, version R3, Report to Fraser Coast Regional Council. Brisbane.). Regarded as a wetland species in Queensland WetlandInfo.

It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census and is listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in Queensland Herbarium Wildlife Online.
