A small plant with a single, erect, grass-like leaf 6-10cm high. Flower stem 8-15cm high with 1-3 pale to deep pink 2-3cm diameter flowers. Flowering period June-August. Widespread & common. Vernon C/P; Poona N/P (Maaroom & Boonooroo); Tinnanbar. (Alan Logan). Listed as a special least concern species in Queensland (https://www.qld.gov.au/environment/plants-animals/plants/protected-plants/harvesting).
It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census and is listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in Queensland Herbarium Wildlife Online.
