Austrocallerya megasperma     (F.Muell.) J.Compton & Schrire

This native vine or climber is commonly known as native wisteria.

Austrocallerya megasperma is described as a "dicot" in the Leguminosae family.

Flagged as a potential locally significant species in the Fraser Coast Region. In the Queensland Nature Conservation Act it is classified as Least Concern. Under the Federal Environment Protection Biodiversity Conservation Act it is not classified.

Previously known as Callerya megasperma (Queensland Flora Census 2020). In the Fraser Coast region recorded only on K'gar (Fraser Island) which is the northern limit of distribution. Reported on the mainland at a few locations between Mt Bauple and the coast. 

It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census and is listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in Queensland Herbarium Wildlife Online.

Reported at 4 Fraser Coast localities: Bauple, K'gari, Teddington, Tuan Forest.
