Acacia penninervis var. longiracemosa     Domin

This native tree is commonly known as coastal hickory.

Reported at 8 Fraser Coast localities: Beelbi Creek, Booral, Burrum Heads, Craignish, Duckinwilla, Dundowran, Fraser Island, Toogoom.

It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census and is listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in Queensland Herbarium Wildlife Online.

In the Queensland Nature Conservation Act this taxon is classified as Least Concern.
Under the Federal Environment Protection Biodiversity Conservation Act it is not classified.

Acacia penninervis var. longiracemosa is described as a "higher dicot" in the Leguminosae (Caesalpinioideae, mimosoid clade) family.

Grows in coastal districts south from Gladstone (
