Species information

Artanema fimbriatum   D.Don

This native groundcover is commonly known as koala bells.

Artanema fimbriatum is described as a "dicot" in the Linderniaceae family.

In the Queensland Nature Conservation Act it is classified as Least Concern. Under the Federal Environment Protection Biodiversity Conservation Act it is not classified.

Flowering at Teddington February 2016. 

It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census and is listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in the Atlas of Living Australia.

Reported at 24 Fraser Coast localities: Dundowran Beach, Urraween, Booral, Wondunna, Craignish, Yengarie, River Heads, Bauple Forest, Talegalla Weir, Magnolia, Tuan Forest, Tinana, Doongul, Teddington, Mount Urah, Takura, Point Vernon, Gootchie, Owanyilla, Antigua, St Mary, Duckinwilla, Boompa, Beelbi Creek.
