In the Fraser Coast region recorded only on K'gari (Fraser Island) which is the northern limit and a disjunct population. Also reported on the mainland near Poona (https://inaturalist.ala.org.au/observations/86367589).
It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census and is
listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in the Atlas of Living Australia.
