in the
Dilleniaceae
family.
Flagged as a potential locally significant species in the Fraser Coast Region.
In the Queensland Nature Conservation Act it is classified as Least Concern.
Under the Federal Environment Protection Biodiversity Conservation Act it is not classified.
Very uncommon in the region previously recorded only at St Mary. Upright plants to about 1.5 metres high. However another uncommon species in the region Hibbertia diffusa is also recorded there (prostrate shrub to about 40 cm). Queensland Herbarium Flora Census 2024 lists only Hibbertia diffusa in the district.

It has not been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census and is not
listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in the Atlas of Living Australia.
