Species information

Hibbertia vestita   A.Cunn. ex Benth.

This native groundcover is commonly known as hairy guinea flower.

Hibbertia vestita is described as a "dicot" in the Dilleniaceae family.

In the Queensland Nature Conservation Act it is classified as Least Concern. Under the Federal Environment Protection Biodiversity Conservation Act it is not classified.

 

It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census and is listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in the Atlas of Living Australia.

Reported at 36 Fraser Coast localities: Booral, Urangan, Pacific Haven, Burrum Heads, Burrum River, Wondunna, Takura, Doongul, Dunmora, Walligan, Beelbi Creek, Walkers Point, Bidwill, Teddington, Yerra, Antigua, Poona, Talegalla Weir, Bauple Forest, Tinnanbar, Tinana, Howard, Burrum Town, Aldershot, Susan River, Yengarie, Boonooroo Plains, Granville, Tandora, Tuan Forest, Walliebum, Mount Urah, St Mary, Maryborough, Sunshine Acres, Maryborough West.
