Juncus continuus   L.A.S.Johnson

This native groundcover is commonly known as sand rush.

Juncus continuus is described as a "monocot" in the Juncaceae family.

In the Queensland Nature Conservation Act it is classified as Least Concern. Under the Federal Environment Protection Biodiversity Conservation Act it is not classified.

Relatively common in the Fraser Coast region. https://inaturalist.ala.org.au/observations/62605176 Regarded as a wetland species in Queensland WetlandInfo.

It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census and is listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in the Atlas of Living Australia.

Reported at 33 Fraser Coast localities: Urangan, Sunshine Acres, Dundowran Beach, Craignish, Booral, Burrum Heads, Burrum River, Toogoom, Takura, Wondunna, Prawle, Yengarie, Urraween, Walligan, Beelbi Creek, River Heads, Bidwill, Teddington, Yerra, Antigua, Gigoomgan, Bauple, Island Plantation, Tuan, Paterson, Magnolia, Boompa, Talegalla Weir, Tinana, Tinnanbar, Kawungan, Doongul, Granville.
