Delicate lilac flowers with hairless bracts below (Wildflowers of the Cooloola-Noosa Area, Arthur Harrold). Relatively uncommon in the region. Distribution mainly to the south with two disjunct records north at Shoalwater Bay and Deepwater. Also reported in the Wide Bay Training Area Tin Can Bay (https://inaturalist.ala.org.au/observations/144721608)
It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census and is
listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in the Atlas of Living Australia.
Reported at 6 Fraser Coast localities: Walligan, Poona, Tinnanbar, K'gari, Tuan Forest, Burrum Heads.
