Fraser Coast region distribution  Mapped on K'gari and Big Woody Island. Also present on Round Island.

Long Description  Strand and fore dune complex comprising Spinifex sericeus grassland Casuarina equisetifolia subsp. incana low woodland/open forest and with Acacia leiocalyx, A. disparrima subsp. disparrima, Banksia integrifolia subsp. integrifolia, Pandanus tectorius, Corymbia tessellaris, Cupaniopsis anacardioides, Acronychia imperforata and Hibiscus tiliaceus. Occurs mostly on frontal dunes and beaches but can occur on exposed parts of dunes further inland. Not a Wetland. (BVG1M: 28a). Vegetation communities in this regional ecosystem include: 12.2.14a: Casuarina equisetifolia subsp. incana woodland to low open forest. Exposed frontal areas. Not a Wetland. (BVG1M: 28a). 12.2.14b: Casuarina equisetifolia subsp. incana woodland to low open forest with mid-dense shrub of Argusia argentea/ Scaevola taccada. Exposed frontal areas. Not a Wetland.
