12.9-10.21: More widespread in northern half of bioregion.
Special Values
12.9-10.21: Potential habitat for NCA listed species: Commersonia leiperi, Macrozamia parcifolia, Macrozamia pauli-guilielmi and Melaleuca formosa. This ecosystem is known to provide suitable habitat for koalas (Phascolarctos cinereus).
Fraser Coast region distribution
Large areas mapped in the central-western part of the region. Some smaller areas closer to the coast north of Maryborough.
Long Description
Eucalyptus acmenoides or E. portuensis woodland usually with Corymbia trachyphloia subsp. trachyphloia +/- Angophora leiocarpa, E. major, E. moluccana, E. exserta, Lophostemon confertus (whipstick form). Occurs on Cainozoic and Mesozoic sediments. Not a Wetland. (BVG1M: 9h).
