Selaginella kraussiana     (Kunze) A.Braun

This introduced groundcover is commonly known as African clubmoss.

Selaginella kraussiana is described as a "lycophyte" in the Selaginellaceae family.

In the Queensland Nature Conservation Act it is not classified as it is not native to Queensland. Under the Federal Environment Protection Biodiversity Conservation Act it is not classified.

A spike moss (Order Selaginellales). No previous records for Wide Bay district however identification at Talegalla Weir confirmed by Queensland Herbarium (Sept 2018). 

It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census and is listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in Queensland Herbarium Wildlife Online.
