Species information

Daviesia discolor     Pedley

This native shrub is commonly known as variegated bitter pea.

Daviesia discolor is described as a "dicot" in the Leguminosae family.

In the Queensland Nature Conservation Act it is classified as Vulnerable. Under the Federal Environment Protection Biodiversity Conservation Act it is classified as Vulnerable.

Distribution from Biggenden area to west of Rockhampton. In Fraser Coast region it appears to be restricted to Mount Walsh.  

It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census and is listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in Queensland Herbarium Wildlife Online.
