Pterocaulon sphacelatum     (Labill.) F.Muell.

This native groundcover is commonly known as fruit-salad plant.

Pterocaulon sphacelatum is described as a "dicot" in the Asteraceae family.

In the Queensland Nature Conservation Act it is classified as Least Concern. Under the Federal Environment Protection Biodiversity Conservation Act it is not classified.

Nearest records to Fraser Coast region are west of Eidsvold and north of Monto. 

It has not been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census and is not listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in Queensland Herbarium Wildlife Online.
