Didymocheton fraserianus     (A.Juss.) Mabb. & Hauenschild

This native tree is commonly known as rose mahogany.

Didymocheton fraserianus is described as a "dicot" in the Meliaceae family.

In the Queensland Nature Conservation Act it is classified as Least Concern. Under the Federal Environment Protection Biodiversity Conservation Act it is not classified.

Recorded to the north from Bundaberg and to the south from Gympie area. Replaces Dysoxylum fraserianum (Queensland Flora Census 2023). 

It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census but is not listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in Queensland Herbarium Wildlife Online.
