Eclipta prostrata     (L.) L.

This introduced groundcover is commonly known as white eclipta.

Eclipta prostrata is described as a "dicot" in the Asteraceae family.

In the Queensland Nature Conservation Act it is not classified as it is not native to Queensland. Under the Federal Environment Protection Biodiversity Conservation Act it is not classified.

 Regarded as a wetland species in Queensland WetlandInfo.

It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census and is listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in Queensland Herbarium Wildlife Online.

Reported at 15 Fraser Coast localities: Bauple Forest, Burrum Heads, Dundowran Beach, Maryborough, Mount Urah, Owanyilla, River Heads, Talegalla Weir, Teddington, Tiaro, Tinana South, Tinnanbar, Tuan Forest, Urraween, Walligan.
