Elaeocarpus eumundi     F.M.Bailey

This native tree is commonly known as Eumundi quandong.

Elaeocarpus eumundi is described as a "dicot" in the Elaeocarpaceae family.

Flagged as a potential locally significant species in the Fraser Coast Region. In the Queensland Nature Conservation Act it is classified as Least Concern. Under the Federal Environment Protection Biodiversity Conservation Act it is not classified.

Distribution to the north and south of Fraser Coast region. Within the region uncommon on the mainland reported at Tinana Creek, Booral and Takura but more common on K'gari (Fraser Island). Flowering Takura mid October 2020. Green fruits forming end of October. 

It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census and is listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in Queensland Herbarium Wildlife Online.

Reported at 4 Fraser Coast localities: Booral, K'gari, Takura, Tuan Forest.
