Species information

Acmena hemilampra subsp. hemilampra     (F.Muell. ex F.M.Bailey) Merr. & L.M.Perry

This native tree is commonly known as broad-leaved lilly pilly.

Acmena hemilampra subsp. hemilampra is described as a "dicot" in the Myrtaceae family.

Flagged as a potential locally significant species in the Fraser Coast Region. In the Queensland Nature Conservation Act it is classified as Least Concern. Under the Federal Environment Protection Biodiversity Conservation Act it is not classified.

Recorded in the Fraser Coast region at K'gari (Fraser Island). Also reported at Urraween and Dundowran. In the Australian Plant Census known as Syzygium hemilamprum subsp. hemilamprum.  

It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census and is listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in Queensland Herbarium Wildlife Online.

Reported at 3 Fraser Coast localities: Dundowran, K'gari, Urraween.
