Erythroxylum sp. (Splityard Creek L.Pedley 5360)    

This native tree is commonly known as cocaine tree.

Erythroxylum sp. (Splityard Creek L.Pedley 5360) is described as a "dicot" in the Erythroxylaceae family.

In the Queensland Nature Conservation Act it is classified as Least Concern. Under the Federal Environment Protection Biodiversity Conservation Act it is not classified.

Those plants from Rockhampton south split from Erythroxylum australe (http://www.brisrain.org.au/01_cms/details.asp?ID=329). 

It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census and is listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in Queensland Herbarium Wildlife Online.

Reported at 12 Fraser Coast localities: Bauple, Brooweena, Craignish, Doongul, Duckinwilla, Howard, Kanigan, Malarga, Mount Urah, St Mary, Teddington, Woocoo.
