Acronychia wilcoxiana     (F.Muell.) T.G.Hartley

This native tree is commonly known as silver aspen.

Acronychia wilcoxiana is described as a "dicot" in the Rutaceae family.

Flagged as a potential locally significant species in the Fraser Coast Region. In the Queensland Nature Conservation Act it is classified as Least Concern. Under the Federal Environment Protection Biodiversity Conservation Act it is not classified.

Recorded distribution in Fraser Coast region limited to K'gari (Fraser Island) which appears to be the northern limit of the species. Also reported at Dundowran and Urangan.  

It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census and is listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in Queensland Herbarium Wildlife Online.

Reported at 3 Fraser Coast localities: Dundowran, K'gari, Urangan.
