Species information

Eucalyptus hallii     Brooker

This native tree is commonly known as Goodwood gum.

Eucalyptus hallii is described as a "dicot" in the Myrtaceae family.

In the Queensland Nature Conservation Act it is classified as Vulnerable. Under the Federal Environment Protection Biodiversity Conservation Act it is classified as Vulnerable.

Distribution is from Bundaberg south to Howard and also K'gari (Fraser Island). An outlying record south of Mundubbera. In the Fraser Coast region recorded from K'gari (Fraser Island), Burrum Heads and Cherwell. There is a small population south of the Burrum River in the Burrum Coast National Park. ‘Back on Track’ priority plant species for the Burnett Mary NRM region. Fraser Coast region is the southern limit of the species.  

It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census and is listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in Queensland Herbarium Wildlife Online.
