Fitzalania bidwillii     (Benth.) Jessup, Kessler & Mols

This native tree is commonly known as southern fitzalania.

Fitzalania bidwillii is described as a "dicot" in the Annonaceae family.

Flagged as a potential locally significant species in the Fraser Coast Region. In the Queensland Nature Conservation Act it is classified as Least Concern. Under the Federal Environment Protection Biodiversity Conservation Act it is not classified.

Southern limit of this species is at Mary River Heads also recorded at Lenthals Dam, Takura, Nikenbah, Craignish and Dundowran. Ripe fruit February 2016 Dundowran Beach. In the Australian Plant Census known as Meiogyne bidwillii. 

It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census and is listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in Queensland Herbarium Wildlife Online.

Reported at 5 Fraser Coast localities: Duckinwilla, Dundowran Beach, Howard, River Heads, Takura.
