Species information

Grevillea reptans     Makinson

This native shrub is commonly known as Tin Can Bay grevillea.

Grevillea reptans is described as a "dicot" in the Proteaceae family.

In the Queensland Nature Conservation Act it is classified as Least Concern. Under the Federal Environment Protection Biodiversity Conservation Act it is not classified.

This species has a limited distribution with a large proportion within the Fraser Coast region. Distribution from Noosa north to Elliot River just south of Bundaberg. 

It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census and is listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in Queensland Herbarium Wildlife Online.

Reported at 6 Fraser Coast localities: Boonooroo Plains, Maaroom, Sunshine Acres, Tuan Forest, Walliebum, Walligan.
