Species information

Pittosporum undulatum     Vent.

This native tree is commonly known as sweet pittosporum.

Pittosporum undulatum is described as a "dicot" in the Pittosporaceae family.

In the Queensland Nature Conservation Act it is classified as Least Concern. Under the Federal Environment Protection Biodiversity Conservation Act it is not classified.

One doubtful record from Mary River Heads. Reported from Maryborough and Hervey Bay areas however these may have been planted or garden escapees. Not considered an invasive weed in the region at this time.  

It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census and is listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in Queensland Herbarium Wildlife Online.

Reported at 6 Fraser Coast localities: Dundathu, Dundowran Beach, Maryborough, Point Vernon, Susan River, Takura.
