Species information

Pterostylis acuminata     R.Br.

This native groundcover is commonly known as pointed greenhood.

Pterostylis acuminata is described as a "monocot" in the Orchidaceae family.

In the Queensland Nature Conservation Act it is classified as Least Concern. Under the Federal Environment Protection Biodiversity Conservation Act it is not classified.

In the Fraser Coast region recorded only on K'gari (Fraser Island), which appears to be the northern limit of the species.
