Stephanophysum longifolium     Pohl

This introduced groundcover is commonly known as common wild petunia.

Stephanophysum longifolium is described as a "dicot" in the Acanthaceae family.

In the Queensland Nature Conservation Act it is not classified as it is not native to Queensland. Under the Federal Environment Protection Biodiversity Conservation Act it is not classified.

Flowers usually red with a white variety also known (https://keyserver.lucidcentral.org/weeds/data/media/Html/stephanophysum_longifolium.htm). In Plants of the World Online known as Ruellia brevifolia. https://inaturalist.ala.org.au/observations/200046966 

It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census but is not listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in Queensland Herbarium Wildlife Online.
