Species information

Stylidium tenerum     Spreng.

This native groundcover is commonly known as swamp triggerplant.

Stylidium tenerum is described as a "dicot" in the Stylidiaceae family.

In the Queensland Nature Conservation Act it is classified as Least Concern. Under the Federal Environment Protection Biodiversity Conservation Act it is not classified.

Recorded distribution in the Fraser Coast region limited to K'gari (Fraser Island) but reported at various other localities on the mainland. Listed as a special least concern species in Queensland (https://www.qld.gov.au/environment/plants-animals/plants/protected-plants/harvesting). Regarded as a wetland species in Queensland WetlandInfo.

It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census and is listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in Queensland Herbarium Wildlife Online.

Reported at 6 Fraser Coast localities: K'gari, Mount Urah, Poona, Talegalla Weir, Tinnanbar, Tuan Forest.
