Species information

Synoum glandulosum subsp. glandulosum     (Sm.) A.Juss.

This native tree is commonly known as scentless rosewood.

Synoum glandulosum subsp. glandulosum is described as a "dicot" in the Meliaceae family.

Flagged as a potential locally significant species in the Fraser Coast Region. In the Queensland Nature Conservation Act it is classified as Least Concern. Under the Federal Environment Protection Biodiversity Conservation Act it is not classified.

Uncommon in the Fraser Coast region. Recorded on K'gari (Fraser Island) and Tinana Creek. Also reported at Poona Creek.  

It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census and is listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in Queensland Herbarium Wildlife Online.

Reported at 3 Fraser Coast localities: Bauple Forest, K'gari, Tuan Forest.
