Species information

Goodenia mystrophylla     K.A.Sheph.

This native groundcover is commonly known as wild pansies.

Goodenia mystrophylla is described as a "dicot" in the Goodeniaceae family.

In the Queensland Nature Conservation Act it is classified as Least Concern. Under the Federal Environment Protection Biodiversity Conservation Act it is not classified.

Previously known as Velleia spathulata (Queensland Flora Census 2021). 

It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census and is listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in Queensland Herbarium Wildlife Online.

Reported at 28 Fraser Coast localities: Beelbi Creek, Boonooroo Plains, Burgowan, Burrum Heads, Burrum Town, Cherwell, Doongul, Duckinwilla, Dunmora, Gootchie, Granville, Maaroom, Maryborough, Poona, Prawle, River Heads, St Mary, Sunshine Acres, Susan River, Takura, Talegalla Weir, Tandora, Teebar, Tiaro, Tinana, Tinnanbar, Tuan Forest, Walligan.
