In the Queensland Nature Conservation Act it is classified as Least Concern. Under the Federal Environment Protection Biodiversity Conservation Act it is not classified.
Queensland Flora Census distribution mainly Darling Downs with a few other northern and western Queensland records. Report at two locations within the region indicate this could be a locally uncommon species and the eastern limit. However ID would need to be confirmed.
It has not been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census and is not listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in Queensland Herbarium Wildlife Online.
