Drosera burmanni     Vahl

This native groundcover is commonly known as tropical sundew.

Drosera burmanni is described as a "dicot" in the Droseraceae family.

In the Queensland Nature Conservation Act it is classified as Least Concern. Under the Federal Environment Protection Biodiversity Conservation Act it is not classified.

One record from Happy Valley, K'gari (Fraser Island) (probably late 1800's). Wide distribution across northern and eastern australia. Also north-east of Gympie. Listed as a special least concern species in Queensland (https://www.qld.gov.au/environment/plants-animals/plants/protected-plants/harvesting). Regarded as a wetland species in Queensland WetlandInfo.

It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census and is listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in Queensland Herbarium Wildlife Online.

Reported at 4 Fraser Coast localities: Burrum Heads, Maaroom, Tinnanbar, Tuan Forest.
