Comesperma esulifolium     (Gand.) Pedley

This native shrub is commonly known as mountain match-heads.

Comesperma esulifolium is described as a "dicot" in the Polygalaceae family.

In the Queensland Nature Conservation Act it is classified as Least Concern. Under the Federal Environment Protection Biodiversity Conservation Act it is not classified.

Branchlets usually minutely hairy (Glenn Leiper, Jan Glazebrook, Denis Cox & Kerry Rathie. 2008. Mangroves to Mountains). In the Fraser Coast region recorded only at Mt Walsh. https://inaturalist.ala.org.au/observations/181461959 

It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census and is listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in Queensland Herbarium Wildlife Online.
