Micrantheum ericoides is described as a "dicot" in the Picrodendraceae family.
In the Queensland Nature Conservation Act it is classified as Least Concern. Under the Federal Environment Protection Biodiversity Conservation Act it is not classified.
Not recorded in the Fraser Coast region. Occurs south from Pomona and at Mt Walsh just outside the region boundary.
