Species information

Ottochloa gracillima     C.E.Hubb.

This native groundcover is commonly known as pademelon grass.

Ottochloa gracillima is described as a "monocot" in the Poaceae family.

In the Queensland Nature Conservation Act it is classified as Least Concern. Under the Federal Environment Protection Biodiversity Conservation Act it is not classified.

 

It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census and is listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in Queensland Herbarium Wildlife Online.

Reported at 36 Fraser Coast localities: Antigua, Bauple, Bauple Forest, Beaver Rock, Bidwill, Booral, Brooweena, Burrum River, Craignish, Duckinwilla, Dundowran Beach, Gigoomgan, Glenorchy, Granville, Gundiah, Howard, Magnolia, Maryborough, Mount Urah, Owanyilla, Poona, Prawle, River Heads, St Mary, Susan River, Takura, Talegalla Weir, Teddington, Tiaro, Tinana, Tuan Forest, Urangan, Urraween, Wondunna, Yengarie, Yerra.
