Themeda quadrivalvis     (L.) Kuntze

This introduced groundcover is commonly known as grader grass.

Themeda quadrivalvis is described as a "monocot" in the Poaceae family.

In the Queensland Nature Conservation Act it is not classified as it is not native to Queensland. Under the Federal Environment Protection Biodiversity Conservation Act it is not classified.

Listed as an invasive plant under the Biosecurity Act 2014 but not prohibited or restricted. As at 01/07/2016 declared as a Local Law Pest Plant for the Fraser Coast region. Also reported at Booral and Burrum Heads. 

It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census and is listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in Queensland Herbarium Wildlife Online.
